SUMMARY
D. sicula body is elongated and dorsoventrally flattened. The species has a triangle-shaped head provided with auricles and with two eyes within free-pigment patches. The colour of the dorsal surface is brown (light to dark) and the ventral surface is pale grey (Lepori, 1948). The pharynx is located at the middle of the body.
