Cratera cuarassu
General description:
Cratera cuarassu is known to reach 11 cm in length and 0.6 cm in width. The anterior end is rounded, the posterior end is pointed, and the body margins are parallel. The dorsal side is black blue presenting submarginal zinc yellow stripes. These stripes are 1/9th of the total body width and run almost from tip to tip the specimens length. The ventral side of C. cuarassu is of light ivory color but brown beige at the anterior tip.
