Dugesia sagitta
Genetics:
All the specimens analysed by Ball in 1979 from the neotype-locality were sexual diploids, 2n = 2x = 16. All the chromosomes were metacentric.
Morphology:
Grey- to olive-brown colour.
Size:
Living specimens up to 10 mm in length and 3 mm in width.
Distribution:
Dugesia sagitta is only known from Corfu, Greece.
Type locality: Messonghi River, Corfu, Greece.
Habitat:
Freshwater habitats.
