Girardia tigrina
Morphology:
G. tigrina specimens have an equilateral-triangular head with two eyes in the middle surrounded by a large, free-pigmented area.
Distribution:
It is an introduced species in Europe and Japan, where it has been found in Hokkaidô, Honshû, and Kyûshû (Sluys et al., 2010).
Habitat:
G. tigrina is generally found in warm waters (Russier-Delolme, 1972; Pattee, 1980).
